Have you just bought a Surface Pro 2, plugged it in, ran Windows Update and restarted only to find your Wireless driver has been uninstalled? Well I just found this out while updating a client’s Surface Pro 2. I tried getting the driver pack for the Surface Pro 2, and randomly found a February Firmware Update and driver pack from Microsoft, which you have to install manually for each driver. Anyways, the Pro 2 Wireless driver didn’t work, however the Pro 1 Driver did. I will link to all files so you can easily find them all and see what works for you. However I have found that the Pro 1 Wireless drivers are the only ones that actually worked for me on the Pro 2, go figure…
If you need help installing them, feel free to comment, and I’ll try to help out.

If you’re running outlook 2003 and Windows 7 you might have noticed that some of your sent items are missing text. Don’t worry you’re not alone or going crazy. It’s a known issue that I found while helping out a client, and it’s been reported on spiceworks. The culprit is Internet Explorer 11. You can just uninstall it and the issue will be resolved. If you’re having this problem and want to uninstall Internet Explorer 11 follow the link below:
Apple has released 10.8.3. Fixes a lot of issues, especially the one in which you could make a browswer crash by inputting a file address. You can download it from the Mac App Store, or if you want the combo link (updates any version of mountain lion) you can download it from Apple’s Website. I always like to grab the combo update and put it on my USB flash drive so I can update any family member or friends mac, without having to download additional updates.
You might be wondering why there is a picture of Palmolive Oxy at the top of this post. A few months back I had recieved some free Dishwashing soap for free with my groceries. It’s always nice to get something free, but it really sucked. I had to squeeze a huge amount to get any lather. Then while at a friends house I noticed he was using Palmolive Oxy. I could smell it from a couple of meters away and it smelled fantastic, great, so exuberant. Haha I had to over do it. Anyways I bought it next time I was getting dishwashing soap and it was only a few more cents than the normal brands (and even cheaper than some cheap brands go figure). One drop is all it took to lather really well. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

A couple of days ago I started seeing posts on Reddit about Pizza being a vegetable. Turns out the story is the US Congress Labeled it as a vegetable for school lunches. Wow things like this keep proving that corporate interests are favored over human wellbeing.
One amazing thing that I love about having multiple Apple products on the network is that they are aware of each other. Today after getting home from work, I was notified that a firmware update for my Airport Extreme was available. Why would I have an expensive router? Because Apple routers are very solid and I still have had to reset one in the three or four years that I’ve been dealing with them. It’s good to just buy one router than to keep replacing one every couple of years.
