You did a good job of collecting information to change the software in the 2Wire 2701 HG-G modem/router. I spent a week going through the net, before I clicked my mouse to do the software update! I happened to buy this 2Wire from a fellow that lived in Montreal and he brought it to Toronto, where I saw it listed on Craigslist.
I’ve been to Montreal a few times and spent my honeymoon in Quebec City three years ago. It is beautiful and busy, but the quiet towns are nice too. I hope you are enjoying your stay in Canada.
